About Atelier Pham

Over the years in my profession, I've worked with teams to create technology products and experiences that help businesses, organizations, and customers address their specific needs. Building something together and seeing our efforts come to fruition as a team was satisfying (though it doesn’t always mean it happened so easily). Learning, ideating, problem-solving, researching, debating, testing, and building was a cyclic discipline.

Most of the time, we couldn't tangibly touch what we were creating. The absence of a sensory dimension to that work increasingly led me to my personal hobbies outside of the office as a way to decompress and recharge in a hands-on way.

Whether it was cooking up new dishes or trying out new metal nibs for my calligraphy work — these activities helped keep both my mind and body engaged in a creative and reflective way.

Over the years, leather-making has intrigued me, allowing hours to slip by as I put myself in the process of sourcing quality materials, hand-cutting, burnishing, creasing, and stitching the leather pieces together. All this was self-taught and I continue to experiment along the way. The process of learning something new - and to build on from my mistakes made me a better learner - a better craftswoman.

Thank you for visiting Atelier Pham. I am grateful for your support of my Bay Area-born, woman-owned business. Every piece in my collection is made in San Francisco — our cherished "City by the Bay" and I hope you’ll bring a piece of that home with you.
